WILD WORK

INTRODUCTIONS AND A MICRO-DEEPENING PRACTICE

WHAT IS YOUR WORK IN THE WORLD?

Because we are steeped in a globalized world with excessive stimulation and constant communication, it is easy to lose track of what we really value and find purpose in and to define ourselves by what the world wants of us, or what we want to resist.

Wild Work is the fourth step on our tailored leadership journeys, and in our Becoming a Wild Human-Self-Guided Work for Women

With the Wild Humans work, we ask you to take a look at your true core values, how you understand these things about yourself, and how these influence what you really want to do with your life and your time. Your “work” may be linear or it may be spiritually led. Either way this process helps you deepen your sense of personalization and meaning, making your work a creative contribution with a lasting impact.

Here is a little taste of what that looks like, and a free micro-deepening process including self-led inquiry, querying, and the beginnings to build a plan.

CORE QUESTIONS TO NURTURE YOUR WILD WORK:

  1. How are you reclaiming worthiness/value of yourself?
  2. How can you understand who you are?
  3. How do you know what you need?

PRACTICES:

  • Clarify your values. Follow this link for a complete practice.
  • Define your vision for the future. What is it you want? How bold will you be?
  • Create the “rungs” on your ladder.

Follow the steps below to begin to set your Vision and Create Your Ladder.

VISION + LADDER TO THE FUTURE

To create a bold and effective move toward a future you feel confident about, while also escaping the noise of the outside world, answer the following questions.

What “cargo” or baggage do I need to shed to make this vision my focus?

1. What news?

2. What social media?

3. What people?

4. What other obligations or responsibilities?

5. What “baggage”, bias, or old story?

Set your vision.

Be bold, think big, and aim higher than you think feels safe or comfortable. You’ll be amazed what you can accomplish when you break it down into steps.

Create your “ladder to the future”.

What is your vision for where you will be in (2) years? Be specific.

Think of your vision like a ladder. To climb to the highest rung immediately is daunting, but when you break down the steps on each “rung” it is very achievable – with some adjustments to timing based on real outcomes. Answer these questions for each rung.

  • What is the timeline for each step?
  • What is the cost to me?
  • What is the cost to my business?
  • What is the cost to my family?
  • What will I do at each stage to ask for support or delegate?

WE TAKE CARE OF HUMANS, DIFFERENTLY

We understand that the world is changing, and part of conscious human capital development and human resources inside today’s modern companies is understanding and caring for the whole person, while creating systems to holistically support the organization and its health and growth financially.
